Trucking Funding

Fast capital for trucking and transportation companies.

Repairs, fuel, insurance, or another truck on the road: $10K to $2M, with a same-day decision and no runaround.

Overview

What carriers and owner-operators use funding for.

In trucking, you get paid on someone else's schedule. Brokers pay in 30 to 60 days, but fuel, repairs, and drivers need paying now. Lenifi bridges that gap using your deposit history, not a stack of collateral paperwork.

  • Emergency truck and trailer repairs that can't wait
  • Fuel costs during long or slow-paying hauls
  • Adding trucks, trailers, or drivers to the fleet
  • Insurance premiums, permits, and DOT compliance costs
  • Covering payroll while invoices sit unpaid
  • Getting through slow freight seasons without parking trucks

Why Lenifi

Why trucking companies choose Lenifi.

We know the 30–60 day gap

Slow broker payments are normal in freight. We plan for them instead of penalizing you.

Money the same day, not in weeks

A truck down is revenue lost. Decisions come the same day, with funding typically 2–6 hours after approval.

No equipment liens required

Funding rests on your revenue, so you don't pledge your rig.

Owner-operators welcome

One truck or forty: if you bring in $15K or more a month, you can apply.

One funding desk

Our underwriting desk manages your deal from application to funding.

$10K to $2M

Enough for a single engine rebuild or a serious fleet expansion.

How trucking companies use revenue-based funding

Freight is one of the few industries where a profitable month can still leave you short of cash. Brokers and shippers often pay on 30-, 45-, or 60-day terms, while fuel, insurance, tolls, maintenance, and driver pay all come due within the same two weeks. That gap isn't a sign of a weak business; it's how the industry pays. Traditional lenders read it as instability, then decline the file or bury it in months of paperwork.

A merchant cash advance works differently. We look at what moved through your business checking account over the last three months: total deposits, how steady they are, your average daily balance, and how many other advances you're already paying. If your deposits support another payment, you get an offer. No pledging trucks or trailers, no lien on your equipment, and no need to tell your brokers anything.

Payments are a fixed daily or weekly amount, not a percentage of each load, so you always know what clears. For carriers on steady lanes, that's usually easier to manage than factoring that changes with every invoice. If freight slows, contact us before you miss a payment. A restructure is far easier to arrange than a recovery.

The most common mistake we see in trucking is stacking: taking a second, third, or fourth advance from different funders within a few weeks. Daily payments pile up, the truck is still the same truck, and the math stops working. We check your existing advances carefully and will tell you honestly when a smaller amount, or no advance at all, is the right answer.

What a $50,000 advance looks like for a carrier

A five-truck carrier with $120,000 a month in deposits needs an engine rebuild and two sets of tires before busy season.

1.38 is a common middle rate, not a floor or a cap. Your rate comes from your own file: deposits, time in business, and existing advances all move it. Stronger files price better. This is an illustration, not a quote. Run your own numbers on the funding calculator.
