Retail Funding

Working capital for retail stores and e-commerce sellers.

Stock up for peak season, refresh your storefront, or open a second location with $10K to $2M and a same-day decision.

Overview

What retailers use funding for.

Retail runs on inventory timing. You pay for Q4 stock in Q3, and a slow spring can leave you short just as suppliers want deposits. Lenifi looks at your sales history and gets capital in place before the window closes.

  • Buying seasonal and holiday inventory ahead of demand
  • Getting bulk or early-payment supplier discounts
  • Opening a second storefront or pop-up location
  • Remodeling displays, fixtures, and signage
  • Upgrading POS, inventory, and e-commerce systems
  • Funding paid ads and marketing pushes before peak season

Why Lenifi

Why retail businesses choose Lenifi.

Built for seasonal swings

We expect uneven months in retail and set repayment around when your sales actually come in.

Fast enough for buying windows

Same-day decisions and funding, typically 2–6 hours after approval, so you make the purchase order deadline.

Brick-and-mortar or online

Storefronts, boutiques, franchises, and e-commerce sellers all qualify on the same terms.

No collateral required

Advances rest on your revenue. You don't pledge inventory or personal property.

One funding desk

Our own desk underwrites and manages your deal.

$10K to $2M

Enough for a single inventory buy or a full multi-location expansion.

How retailers use revenue-based funding

Retail cash runs backwards from the calendar. You buy inventory months before you sell it, pay freight and duties up front, and get the money back only when the season arrives. Add a rent increase, a supplier who suddenly wants payment on order instead of on delivery, or a fourth-quarter buy due in August, and even a healthy store can run short at the worst moment.

We look at your deposit history, not your inventory value. That matters, because most lenders heavily discount retail inventory as collateral. Three months of business bank statements tell us what we need: total monthly deposits, consistency, average daily balance, negative days, and any existing advances. Card processing volume helps but isn't required, and you don't have to switch processors to work with us.

Typical retail advances run $10,000 to $250,000, funded the same day, typically 2–6 hours after approval, with fixed daily or weekly payments over six to twelve months. Owners most often use them for seasonal inventory, a second location or pop-up, a store build-out, marketing before a peak, or covering payroll and rent through a slow quarter.

Watch the timing. Don't let repayment fall entirely inside your slow season. If your strong months are October through December, funding in September and repaying through the quarter usually works. Funding in January and repaying through the spring often doesn't. We'll talk through the timing with you before writing the deal.

What a $60,000 advance looks like for a retailer

A retailer with $140,000 a month in average deposits places its fourth-quarter inventory order in late summer.

1.38 is a common middle rate, not a floor or a cap. Your rate comes from your own file: deposits, time in business, and existing advances all move it. An illustration only. Run your own figures through the funding calculator.
